Capillus Pet Joint Wrap
A wearable, wrap-style wellness device that delivers 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared light directly to your dog's joint and the surrounding tissue in a single, comfortable session. Sized for larger breed dogs.
Your Session at a Glance
Allow the device to fully cool down before each use. Exceeding the recommended times or frequency may not increase the effect of the device.
What Is in the Box
Step 1 — Charge Before First Use
The Capillus® Pet Joint Wrap has a built-in rechargeable battery and includes a USB Type-C charging cable. Charge the device fully before first use.
Connect the cableConnect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the power button.
Watch the power buttonThe power button shows charging status while the cable is connected.
Disconnect before useOnce charging is complete, disconnect the cable before starting a session.
Do not use the device while it is charging. The device is not waterproof — keep the device and charging accessories away from liquids and essential oils while charging.
Low battery indicator: If the battery is too low to operate the device, the power indicator light will flash when you press the power button. Charge the device before trying to use it again.
Step 2 — Position the Wrap
Wrap the LED pad around your dog's joint so that the light-emitting surface sits flat against the skin. Secure the adjustable straps snugly but comfortably — you should be able to fit a finger comfortably underneath each strap.
Avoid over-tightening, which can restrict circulation.
Step 3 — Power On and Choose a Mode
Quickly press and release the power button once to turn the device on. The device will begin in the first lighting mode. Each additional press advances to the next mode.

Near-infrared light is not visible to the naked eye. The green light on the power button indicates that the unit continues to provide treatment though no visible light is noted.
Monitor your pet for the duration of the session. The device includes a 15-minute automatic shut-off timer and will power down at the end of each session. Do not leave the wrap unattended on your pet when it is powered on.

Before You Start — Safety Essentials
CAUTION: The light emitted from the Capillus® Pet Joint Wrap may be harmful to the eyes. Avoid directing the light into your pet's eyes.
Do not use the Pet Joint Wrap in conjunction with:
- Photosensitizing medications.
- Photosensitizing topical products.
Do not use the Pet Joint Wrap if your pet has any of the following:
- Suspicious lesions, skin cancer, or unexplained lumps at the treatment site.
- Broken skin, open wounds, rash, or blisters at the treatment site.
- Active skin infection at the treatment site.
- Known photosensitivity or a light-sensitive skin condition.
Consult a veterinarian before use if:
- Your pet is pregnant or nursing.
- Your pet is experiencing skin sensitivity or irritation.
- Your pet has an injury, disease, is recovering from surgery, or is under veterinary care.
- Your pet has recently received injected or topical steroids.
During every session:
- Your pet should remain calm and comfortable throughout use.
- Discontinue the session if your pet shows signs of discomfort, excessive warmth, restlessness, or attempts to move away from the device.
- Immediately stop using the device if your pet shows signs of discomfort.
Not for every pet. The Pet Joint Wrap is not intended for use on pets with reduced tolerance to warmth or restricted mobility unless supervised closely, or on very young puppies or fragile pets without veterinary guidance.
Keep it dry. The device is not waterproof. Do not use it if it has been left outdoors, if it is wet, or in wet surroundings.
Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning
- Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged from any power cord before cleaning.
- Let the Joint Wrap cool completely before folding or storing.
- Wipe inside and outside surfaces with a soft cloth or towel. Use a non-toxic cleaning wipe.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. Do not use acetone or any other solvents — they will damage the unit and void the warranty.
- Do not use excessive pressure or force, as this may damage the unit.
Storage
- Store flat or loosely folded, and avoid creasing the LED panels.
- Do not stack heavy objects on top of the device.
- Store in a dry area away from moisture, heat, and dust to help preserve battery life.
- Transport and store between 0°C (32°F) and 25°C (77°F), at 15% to 90% relative humidity.
No user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, repair, or modify the Capillus® Pet Joint Wrap. If service is required, contact Capillus® at +1 (888) 571-5334.
Warranty and Returns
Capillus offers a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. The Pet Joint Wrap is designed and intended only for home use — using it in a commercial or institutional setting will void the warranty.
Purchases made through www.capillus.com may be returned within 90 days of the original delivery date for a refund or exchange. Contact Capillus® to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back.
