How It Works

The Capillus NEURO uses non-invasive photobiomodulation, the same Class 3R laser technology found in Capillus hair therapy caps, applied to the head to support general cognitive wellness in healthy individuals. Its 140 laser diodes are anatomically distributed to correspond with major functional regions of the cerebral cortex, enabling consistent light delivery across areas associated with cognition, memory, attention, emotional regulation, and sensory integration.

Sessions are fully pre-programmed at 12 minutes. The device emits no heat, no harmful radiation, causes no pain, and requires no drugs or topical applications.

What's In The Box

Charging the Battery Pack

The NEURO runs exclusively on the Battery Pack, it will not operate while connected to the AC adapter. Charge the Battery Pack fully before your first session.

1. First charge: overnightBefore first use, charge the Battery Pack overnight to condition it for optimal battery life.

2. Connect the adapterInsert the AC adapter into a wall outlet, then connect the Battery Pack to the adapter. Verify the voltage matches your local mains supply. Keep the adapter accessible and unobstructed during charging.

3. Watch the indicator lightsThe four indicator lights on top of the Battery Pack show charge progress. When all four lights are on and static (no blinking), the Battery Pack is fully charged.

4. Disconnect when doneUnplug the Battery Pack from the adapter, then unplug the adapter from the wall. Disconnect the Battery Pack from the NEURO headset between sessions for optimal battery life.

How to Use

1. Inspect the deviceBefore each use, check the headset for cleanliness, cracks, sharp edges, or signs of corrosion. Do not use a damaged device.

2. Connect the Battery PackAlign the small white indicator arrows on both cables, then push them together firmly until secured. The arrows must be aligned for a proper connection.

3. Press the power button for 1 secondPress and hold the power button on the front of the Battery Pack for 1 second to start. Then place the NEURO headset on your head.

4. Confirm the emission light is onThe emission indicator light on the Battery Pack will glow to confirm the lasers are active. A built-in head-presence sensor prevents laser emission unless the headset is properly placed on the head.

5. Relax for 12 minutesThe session runs automatically. When complete, you will hear three longer successive beeps, the lasers shut off and the Battery Pack powers down automatically.

6. Disconnect and storeDisconnect the Battery Pack from the headset after each session and store both in the carrying case.

Usage Guidelines

The NEURO is designed for twice-daily use — morning and evening sessions work well for most users. Each session is 12 minutes and fully automatic.

Care & Cleaning

1. Power off and disconnect all cablesTurn off the device and fully disconnect the Battery Pack before cleaning.

2. Wipe the silicone and outer surfacesGently wipe the exterior and silicone portions with a soft damp cloth. Allow to air dry or wipe dry. Keep out of direct sunlight while drying.

3. No solvents or chemicalsDo not use acetone, alcohol, bleach, or any other chemical cleaners. These will damage the device and void your warranty.

4. Keep completely dryDo not use or store in a bathroom or near water. If the device gets wet, do not use or charge it; contact support.

5. Store in the carrying caseKeep the headset and Battery Pack in the included IP22-rated carrying case between sessions to protect from dust and moisture.

Safety & Contraindications

Do not use if you:

• Are taking or using photosensitizing medications or topical products
• Are experiencing skin sensitivity or irritation — consult a physician before use
• Have any condition where light therapy to the head is contraindicated — consult a physician before use

Additional safety guidelines:

• Stop use immediately if any discomfort occurs during or after a session
• Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair any component of the device or Battery Pack
• Do not use if the device or Battery Pack has been dropped, damaged, or is behaving abnormally
• Do not leave unattended while powered on
• Not for use by children under 18, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities without supervision
• Intended for use by one person only — not transferable
